Mt. Pleasant, Tennessee

Architect

Project Size

DCi

425,000 Square Feet

Duration

13 Months

This 425,000 square foot warehouse expansion required a high level of technical coordination and thoughtful problem-solving, with a scope that included the installation of more than 86,000 square feet of insulated metal wall panels. One of the project’s most significant challenges was maintaining visual continuity between the new addition and the existing facility, particularly since the original metal panels were sourced from a different manufacturer, a challenge approached within the context of a trusted client relationship that dates back to the early 2000s, when our team first visited the client’s operations in Italy.

To achieve a seamless match, the team undertook an extensive documentation process, carefully measuring and photographing existing panels, trims, and flashings to create an accurate reference for the new materials. Custom panel colors and bespoke trims were then engineered to replicate the original aesthetic, ensuring a cohesive exterior. The design was further enhanced through the integration of Duo-Gard translucent wall panels, which introduce natural light throughout the facility, brightening interior spaces while creating a more comfortable and welcoming work environment.
